Adobong Pusit (Squid)

Adobo Pusit (Squid) Recipe

- 1/2 kilo squids (medium-size)
- 5 cloves garlic, pounded
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup vinegar (native)
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt or soy sauce to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced

- Wash and clean the squids very well.
- Put the squids in a saucepan (not aluminum) with the vinegar, garlic, pepper, salt, or soy sauce and water.
- Cover and cook slowly until squids are tender.
- Drain, separate the garlic and fry until brown.
- Add the sliced onion, then the tomatoes.
- Add squids and continue to cook a few minutes.
- Add the broth in which the squids have been cooked and bring to a boil.
